Dear Cornerstone,
In Psalm 77:11-12 CSB, Asaph writes, “I will remember the Lord’s works; yes, I will remember your ancient wonders. I will reflect on all you have done and meditate on your actions.”
This report represents an opportunity to follow in Asaph’s footsteps and reflect on all God has done in our midst in the past year.
2025 was a first for our church. After purchasing nearly 11 acres for the future home of Cornerstone in 2024, we completed the design process for phase 1 of our new campus and invited our whole church to begin a three-year journey with us called “Here to Stay.” Hundreds of people at Cornerstone said, “I’m here to stay!” and we saw God begin to provide the resources we will need to build a new church home. We are announcing today that we’ve paid off our land and are debt-free.
As we prepared for the future, we also stayed faithful in the present. We baptized new believers, connected people in small groups and short-term studies for men and women, and rallied teams toward service. We continued to build long-term relationships and meet the needs of our community through For Prescott Month and I Love My City Day. Through your generous giving, we supported partners who are taking the Gospel to unreached people groups and planting churches
amidst persecution.
This report highlights many areas where God is powerfully at work. As I have often reminded you, every statistic in this report represents a name, a face, and a real story, one that matters to God and that we care about deeply at Cornerstone. Behind each of these stories is your partnership: your prayers, your service, your sacrifice, and your faithfulness.
I hope this report helps you see the real difference your weekly giving makes. While preaching through our “Here to Stay” series a few months ago, I reminded you that it takes all of us praying, listening, and obeying to accomplish God’s purpose for our church. Those three practices must continue to shape our lives in 2026! As we continue to take our next steps with Jesus, we must lean on God’s grace, not our own strength, to do what He has called us to do.
“And God is able to make every grace overflow to you, so that in every way,
always having everything you need, you may excel in every good work.”
(2 Corinthians 9:8 CSB)
Thank you for your faithfulness, and I can’t wait to see what God has in store for us!
