No matter where you are in your journey, we’d be honored to meet you in person and walk alongside you.
We gather every Sunday for services at 9:00 & 10:30AM, at the Yavapai College Performing Arts Center.

Cornerstone is not a gathering of perfect people. In fact, it’s a gathering of the broken and the needy. We depend on the Good News of salvation in Christ alone. As we follow Christ, we are seeing Him change lives in Prescott and around the world. We invite you to come and see what God is doing. Click “Because of You” below to get a glimpse.
Our goal is to help you take the next step toward God – whether that’s exploring His message, rekindling a relationship, or deepening a lifelong walk. Cornerstone exists to serve you spiritually. “For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.” – 2 Corinthians 4:5

Our Purpose

Cornerstone exists to glorify God and make followers of Jesus. Our strategy comes from Jesus Christ, the “Head” of Cornerstone. In His Word, Christ gives 4 basic commands for churches. At Cornerstone, we call them the 4 Corners: Rescue, Transform, Love and Serve. These are God’s measures of a healthy church, and so they’re our measures, too.

Jesus said to “Go into all the world” and share the great news of salvation. We take this seriously, beginning here in Prescott and reaching beyond through the rescuers (missionaries) we send to other nations. We invite you to be rescued, and to join the rescue. (Matt 28:18-20)
transform mail.google.com
God empowers us to become like Christ. He actually changes our thoughts and choices as we renew our minds in Scripture and walk in the Spirit. This transformation takes place in relationship with other believers. We want to help you transform and grow in Christ. (2 Peter 1:3-5 , Rom 12:1 ,2 , Gal 5:16 , 1 Thess 5:11)
love mail.google.comJesus’ followers can be identified by their love for each other. People in Prescott should see that Jesus is alive and risen – because of our love. This shows in our congregation’s relationships. It also shows in our love for all people and for believers at other Gospel-preaching, Bible-believing churches. We want to help you love and be loved, as God designed. (John 13:34 ,35)
serve mail.google.comWe don’t serve to win God’s favor or approval. Those have already been won for us at the cross. We serve for the same reason that birds sing and horses gallop – because it’s what God created us to do (Ephesians 2:10). As a result, serving with our spiritual gifts is the most fulfilling thing we can do.
We passionately believe that you will be most fulfilled when you discover and uncover the “good works” that God engineered just for you. Whether its making meals, caring for kids, pounding nails, greeting, organizing, teaching or one of many other callings, we want to help you find your spiritual gift and put it to use, for God’s glory and your fulfillment in Him.

If your heart is in it, you are guaranteed to grow spiritually at Cornerstone. Here’s how:
  1. Gather on Sundays to worship God and be transformed by His Word.
  2. Gather in groups to apply God’s Word in a community of love, encouragement and accountability.
  3. Serve in the community of believers with your gifts, talents, time and resources.

Do these things from the heart, and you will grow spiritually. If this sounds simple, that’s because it is. God is the One Who does the work of growing us (Philippians 1:6). The question is just whether we will join him, or not. So, will you join us–as we join Him?
