While all our youth and children’s ministries are exciting and fun, our aim is not simply to entertain the next generation, but to train them in their love relationship with Christ. Because of this value, our Youth Pastor focuses on discipleship and depth in youth ministry.
Multiple studies show that, on average, 60 to 70 percent of Christian teens abandon the faith by age 29. By God’s grace and an intentional focus on discipleship, this has not been the case with Cornerstone’s young people. Cornerstone intentionally works to deeply root and firmly ground our young people in their relationship with Christ. We aim to train up warriors of grace and truth who know that this world is not their home–and who know that Jesus Christ is the only source of love, hope, purpose and significance in the universe.

Cornerstone teens (grades 6-12) gather on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 for Youth Group at the Rosser Campus (700 West Rosser Street). Cornerstone’s Youth Pastor, Josh McClintock and his team of trained leaders engage the teens on the issues in their lives and relate their struggles and cares to God and His Word.
On Sundays, our teens worship together with us in the Main Sanctuary. This visually reminds every generation that the body of Christ includes all generations. We are committed to teaching God’s Word in a way that makes sense to teens as well as adults.
