Pastor John serves at Cornerstone by teaching God’s Word, casting vision and discipling the staff team. He has a heart to see men, women and children find their significance, purpose and salvation in Christ. As primary leader and teacher he drives Cornerstone’s vision to build a culture of discipleship and to teach God’s Word  in ways that are both accurate and applicable.

Pastor John is driven by a deep love for the Bride of Christ. He longs to see the larger body of Christ built up, strengthened and unified in Prescott and across the United States. In 2003, he graduated from Bob Jones University with a B.A. in journalism with a minor in counseling and emphases in Bible and New Testament Greek. He moved to Arizona in 2004 to pursue a Master of Divinity degree at Phoenix Seminary. While in Phoenix he enjoyed a career as a journalist.

Pastor John and Melanie, his wife, served at Scottsdale Bible Church before being called to Prescott. The members of Cornerstone called John as Senior Pastor in December of 2008. Since then, God has blessed the church with a season of growth in depth and breadth. Pastor John and Melanie have two young children.
