Christmas is an incredible opportunity to celebrate the love we have for those in our lives, along with the love God showed us when He sent Jesus to come and be born as the savior of the world.
You’re invited to Christmas For Prescott, a Christmas Eve experience hosted by Cornerstone Church.
These two Christmas Eve experiences are scheduled for Sunday, December 24, at 9:00 and 10:30am. Each identical experience will be 60 minutes long and will take place in the Performing Arts Center of Yavapai College. The experiences will include fun experiences for children, traditional Christmas carols, a message from our pastor, and some very special presentations. We love our city – Arizona’s Christmas City – and we want to add our contribution to this season’s traditions.
We’d be incredibly honored to host you as our guest on Christmas Eve. You can learn more about the services in the Frequently Asked Questions section below. If there’s any other questions you have, please feel free to contact us by completing the form at the bottom of this page.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
How long will the experience be?
Each of our two identical Christmas Eve experiences will last approximately 60 minutes.
What happens during these experiences?
Cornerstone Church’s music team will lead us in singing traditional Christmas songs, including some updated versions. The service will also include some special experiences for children. Our lead pastor, Scott Savage, will bring a message which will be relevant for all of us. And we have a couple special presentations, too. But, those are surprises! You’ll have to wait and see about those, so don’t be late!
Where do I need to go?
Christmas for Prescott experiences will take place in the Performing Arts Center at Yavapai College. The college is located at  1100 E. Sheldon Street in Prescott, AZ.

Who will be speaking that night?
Our Lead Pastor, Scott Savage, will be speaking in both services. We know you’ll enjoy Pastor Scott’s authenticity, passion, and creativity.
What should I wear?
You’ll see people wearing all kinds of attire from jeans and sneakers to suit coats and dresses. Dress however you feel comfortable.
What do you have available for children?
We have exciting programming for children from birth through 4 years old. When you arrive, one of our greeters can show you where to check your children in for programming designed especially for them.
Please consider arriving at least 15 minutes before the service begins, in order for you to complete the check-in process.
Children in kindergarten and beyond are encouraged to participate in the service with the rest of their families, as the content will be friendly to all ages.
Should I come early?
The doors will open 25 minutes prior to each service and we encourage you to come early to ensure that you can have the best seat. The Performing Arts Center is a large venue, so we are confident there will be room for everyone.
Will I be singled out if I’m new?
No way! We will go out of our way to make you feel welcomed and included. You’re to be as anonymous as you’d like to be. Every  Sunday is someone’s first service at Cornerstone, so we do all we can to help guests feel comfortable when they attend. Please grab a Welcome Bag on your way in or out of the service as an expression of our gratitude for joining us.
Is there a cost to attend the service?
No, this service is our free gift to the Prescott area, hence the name you see above, “Christmas For Prescott.”
Will communion be served?
No. At Cornerstone, we typically take communion on the first  Sunday of each month.
What’s next after Christmas Eve?
We encourage you to fill out a Connect Card in the worship bulletin and share any questions or needs you have. We look forward to following up with you after the holiday.
You’re invited to join us for our new sermon series, beginning  Sunday, January 7. We look forward to sharing more about this series later this month.
